In March 2025, the Social Welfare Department (“SWD”) will launch the “Community Living Room Pilot Scheme” – Ko Shan Road Community Living Room Project (“Project”), funded by the Community Care Fund. The Project focuses on supporting subdivided flat tenants (especially families with children) by providing them with additional living space and expanding their social networks, thereby improving their living standards and strengthening their sense of community. The WSD has appointed the Community Care Association Limited as an accredited service provider to collaborate with the Kowloon Federation of Associations Social Service Fund Limited and the Kowloon Women’s Federation Limited to operate the “Project”, providing services comprising three elements.
